Enaex Tharisa Mine uses UAV imagery and WipFrag analysis to support rapid, safe, and quantitative blast fragmentation assessment.

UAVs are highly useful in blasting fragmentation assessment because they allow the blasted muckpile to be surveyed rapidly and safely, with high-resolution imagery that can be processed into quantitative fragmentation data. A typical workflow is: Blast → UAV survey → image processing → orthomosaic → WipFrag analysis → fragmentation distribution → blast optimisation. I would like to thank you for your support and guidance with regard to the WipWare Inc. application.

WipWare helped support a PSD evaluation using scaled pile photos instead of costly heavy-equipment sampling and screening.

“An oil sands plant asked me to provide a particular size evaluation on a mine ore feed screen rejects (over size)… They wanted me to arrange to collect samples using heavy equipment, utilize screens, evaluate tons of material and provide the data.
