Knowing the impact of the different fractions of fed ore size improves the performance of the AG mill, increasing energy efficiency in mills, process productivity and profit.
WipWare’s Solo system is a vital piece of equipment for us, used in our SAG advanced control strategy. It helps us determine the incoming % of fines which we use to compensate with fresh feed in order to avoid SAG overloading and underloading, which would throw us out of the maximum efficiency grinding point.
