On November 21, 2019, WipWare Technical Specialist Thomas de Sousa conducted a hands-on WipFrag workshop for third-year mining engineering students at Queen’s University, introducing students to fragmentation measurement through traditional sieve analysis and digital photoanalysis.
During the workshop, the students performed two shaker sieve analyses. Once completed, the students compared them to the photoanalysis results using WipFrag.

The goal of this workshop was to demonstrate the accuracy, effectiveness, and efficiency of WipFrag to the students so that it can benefit them during their studies and their career.
Thank you to Dr. Takis Katsabanis, Associate Professor in Mining Engineering at Queen’s University, for hosting this workshop and giving WipWare the opportunity to show our WipFrag software to the students.
