ISEE Conference 2019 – Another Successful Trade Show

The ISEE Conference is the world’s largest conference on explosives engineering, sponsored by the International Society of Explosives Engineers. This 45th annual conference was a record breaker and a great event to attend! More than 1,800 people from around the world met Jan. 27-30, 2019, in Nashville, TN. setting a new attendance record for the world’s largest conference on explosives engineering. Blasters, manufacturers, government officials and suppliers gathered to gain new insights and to form new business alliances with more than 180 exhibits on the latest technology. The ISEE conference included technical and poster sessions, workshops, industry socials and exhibits.

Thomas Palangio, our Chief Technical Officer had a non-stop flow of individuals and groups learning about WipWare’s software and photoanalysis systems. WipWare provides photo analysis systems and software for many industries like mining, aggregate and coarse coal applications. This technology takes manual sieving to the next level through automation giving our customers continuous PSD data 24/7. Our booth #122 was busy everyday showcasing our products and software to a variety of people from South Africa to Finland. This ISEE conference is a great networking opportunity for small and large companies from around the world.

As well as the networking opportunities at the ISEE conference, It’s always great to see old friends as well at these tradeshows. Both Tom and Thomas were able to spend time with friends and colleagues that they’ve met over the 25 years in business. Thomas met with Gary Cavanaugh, Barry McCreadie and his wife who were delegates from Finland. The O-Pitblast team, Raquel Sobral and Francisco Leite were in attendance as well who are great supporters of our business.

Tom Palangio has never missed an ISEE Conference in 34 years and is looking forward to next year’s event.
