IION and Canadore Skills Training in Advanced Manufacturing and Production (icSTAMP) offers a 25-week paid placement program for individuals in trade and engineering related fields, which combines practical experience and soft skills training through educational and experiential learning in an applied research and development environment.
There are three core components to this placement: Research and Development Project, Training at iCamp and Personal and Professional Development Workshops. As part of this program, Andrew Palangio, one of WipWare’s Technical Specialists, gave a presentation at iCamp last week. Andrew has been learning business related skills and training on iCamp equipment in order to pursue a development project for WipWare.
The half hour presentation was on a new design which showed the development process for a new product.
