Trade Show Season is Upon Us Again

WipWare Inc. kicked off our 2025 trade show season with the International Society of Explosives Engineers (ISEE) Conference.

This conference was held in Cherokee North Carolina from January 21-26th . 

PDAC and CIM

Next on the trade show season journey will be the Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) Convention in Toronto, Ontario. The location is at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre March 2-5th. WipWare is proudly a part of the Northern Ontario Mining Showcase located in the Trade Show North Exhibition.

We will be attending The Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum (CIM) Convention in Vancouver, British Columbia.

We will be at Booth #1 in the NOMS Pavilion 6501N from May 4-7th.

Fragblast 2025

We are very excited to be participating in Fragblast 2025 with our Value-Added Reseller Alper Onen with Elite Enerji Sistemleri AS

Come and visit Alper and our WipWare team at his booth April 7-10th in Antalya Turkiye.

This is an important international scientific platform where companies share the latest developments in blasting and explosive engineering. The primary goal of the symposium is to share scientific research in the field of blasting with the industry, practical applications and experiences in the industry with the academic community, and to encourage a deeper understanding of all aspects of explosive-rock interactions.

We are excited to be presenting a paper at Fragblast 2025 as well.

We look forward to fruitful exchanges of theoretical and practical experience.

EFEE World Conference

The 13th World Conference on Explosives and Blasting will be held in the city of Krakow from September 20-23rd ICE. The EFEE World Conference on Explosives and Blasting is one of the key international blasting events, drawing attention from explosives users, manufacturers and drilling equipment operators, as well as researchers and professionals involved in the construction and mining industry.

We are excited to be attending this excellent conference showcasing our products and services as well as presenting a paper at the conference.

6th WipWare Conference & Workshop 2019

WipWare held their 6th WipWare Conference & Workshop from November 5-7th in Toronto. Many of our resellers and partners were in attendance. The 3-day conference and workshop involved presentations to help our partners and resellers view our new product line, get in-depth WipFrag information, have hands-on system and new product demonstrations.

The first day, a presentation of WipFrag was given which included information on the license versions available, Drones (UAV), Geographic Information System (GIS) and Human Machine Interface (HMI). WipWare’s Momentum System was also presented including the Conveyor camera type and the new Vehicle Camera Assembly.

After a great day of presentations, everyone enjoyed dinner at Nando’s and and some Go Cart Racing at Formula Kartways .

The second day was dedicated to showcasing our Solo and Reflex 5th Generation Instruments and our new Vertex Instrument. Each participant also had the opportunity to do a presentation on their company’s products and services.

The end of the second day had another team building special event – Escape Rooms. Fun was had by all and some good laughs along the way with dinner at Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse

The final day allowed all participants to do an analysis of the conference and workshop and enjoy dinner at the CN Tower Restaurant.

Mines and Technology – Tom Palangio Attends Conference October 2-4, 2017

Tom Palangio attended the Mines and Technology 2017 Conference in Toronto, Ontario. The conference was well attended. Tom was the Session Chair on “The Culture of Mining and the Challenge of Transition” and moderated a panel discussion at the conference around Culture and Mindset Innovation. Participating in the panel were Neil Clegg, Vice President of VIR Electric Inc; Peter Kondos, Senior Director of Strategic Technology Solutions with Barrick Gold Corporation and Nathan Stubina, Managing Director at McEwen Mining.

The Mines and Technology Event in Toronto last week was an ideal venue to hear about innovations in mining from the people doing the innovation. Tom Palangio, President of Wipware shown above with Andrew Reese, Global Industry Mgr. with Endress + Hauser from Switzerland.
Mines and Technology 2017 focuses on a range of topic areas that are of critical interest for the next-generation mine, especially in the areas of digital analytics, data and tracking systems on mines; the role of robotics in future operations and how innovation will be crucial for waste and resource management.
