From June 19\u201321, 2019, a WipWare Technical Specialist visited Coeur Rochester Mine near Lovelock, Nevada, to install and commission a Vertex-S conveyor particle analysis system<\/a><\/strong> for a two-month trial. Working alongside the thyssenkrupp team, WipWare completed the initial system installation and setup, preparing the technology to monitor oversize material and support crusher performance optimization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From June 19-21, our WipWare Technical Specialist was on-site at the Coeur Rochester mine site in Lovelock, Nevada to commission the installation of a two-month trial Vertex-S System.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following the installation of the Vertex-S frame, the camera was focused and the scale was set. Additional installation of the fabric canopy will take place at a later time after lighting has been installed.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The product installed is a Vertex-S conveyor particle analysis system. This WipWare technology should perform very well in this application. The system will be able to detect oversize material allowing automation and improve crusher output optimization efforts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In October 2019, WipWare successfully commissioned a Solo Online Conveyor Particle Size Analysis System<\/a><\/strong> at BHP's Jimblebar Mine in Western Australia. Working alongside BHP and Downer personnel, WipWare's Technical Specialist completed the system setup, verified functionality, and established real-time particle size monitoring to support fragmentation measurement and process optimization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The team met on the first day for a safety discussion and to visit the location where the Solo System would be installed. Our Technical Specialist also reviewed the installation steps. BHP and the Downer team installed the Solo System and Hood while our specialist concentrated on the camera, verified functionality and collected sample images for setup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the set up was completed, a product demonstration\u00a0and a quick tutorial\u00a0with\u00a0WipFrag<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0software was done.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The system will be able to detect very subtle changes in material size and shape allowing automation and optimization efforts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On March 12,\u00a0 Marty Wanner, our Technical Specialist arrived on-site to commission the WipWare SOLO (Online Conveyor Particle Size Analysis) System<\/a> at the Meliadine gold development project in Nunavut Territory. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Meliadine mine<\/a> is located near the western shore of Hudson Bay in the Kivalliq District of Nunavut, about 25 km north of Rankin Inlet and 290 km southeast of the Meadowbank mine. Meliadine includes seven gold deposits, six of which are part of the current mine plan. The 98,222-hectare property covers an 80-km-long greenstone belt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Upon his arrival, Marty was given a brief tour of the facility and then proceeded to review the control room setup. The Solo system was installed prior to Marty's arrival and the installation was very well done and connectivity was confirmed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
