On August 14, 2019, WipWare's Marty Wanner visited Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, to conduct a hands-on fragmentation analysis lab with Bachelor of Mining Engineering Technology students. Working alongside Dr. Takis Katsabanis at the Robert M. Buchan Department of Mining<\/strong><\/a>, students explored traditional sieve analysis techniques and compared their results with digital photoanalysis using WipFrag<\/a><\/strong> software.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lab included reviewing the WipFrag iOS App and working with WipFrag for Windows. Also, the lab compared the manual sieve analysis results with WipFrag's results<\/a><\/strong>. Features and benefits of both processes were discussed, and the features of Solo<\/a><\/strong> and Reflex<\/a><\/strong> online analysis systems were also reviewed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

WipWare held their 6th WipWare Conference & Workshop from November 5-7th in Toronto. Many of our resellers and partners were in attendance. The 3-day conference and workshop involved presentations to help our partners and resellers view our new product line, get in-depth product information, and experience hands-on demonstrations of WipWare technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event kicked off with a WipFrag<\/a><\/strong> presentation, including information on licenses, drones (UAV), the Geographic Information System (GIS) and the Human Machine Interface (HMI). WipWare's Momentum System was also presented including the Conveyor camera type and the improved Vehicle Camera Assembly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After a great day of presentations, everyone enjoyed dinner at Nando's and some Go-Kart Racing at Formula Kartways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The second day was dedicated to showcasing our Solo<\/a><\/strong> and Reflex<\/a><\/strong> 5th Generation Instruments and our new Vertex Instrument.\u00a0Each participant also had the opportunity to do a presentation on their company's products and services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The end of the second day had another team building special event - Escape Rooms. Fun was had by all and some good laughs along the way with dinner at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The final day allowed all participants to do an analysis of the conference and workshop and enjoy dinner at the CN Tower Restaurant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
