Diese Risikoaversion erstickte Innovationschancen und viele gro\u00dfe Unternehmen vermieden es, die F\u00fchrung beim Nachweis der empirischen Leistungsf\u00e4higkeit neuer Technologien zu \u00fcbernehmen, weil die Vorlaufkosten und das potenzielle Scheitern oder die Risiken, die mit hochmodernen Innovationen verbunden sind, als unklug angesehen wurden. Der Ansatz von WipWare bestand darin, sich auf die Verbesserung der t\u00e4glichen Erfahrung der Mitarbeiter an vorderster Front zu konzentrieren \u2013 einschlie\u00dflich der Abkehr von den reinen Versuch-und-Irrtum-Praktiken der Vergangenheit, bei denen Mitarbeiter, die versuchen, die Brecherl\u00fccke vorherzusagen, oft die Ausfallzeiten der Ausr\u00fcstung erh\u00f6hten.
