WipWare Rocks 44th Annual ISEE Conference

ISEE 44th annual conference logo

Our WipWare Booth #707 had lots of interest and activity this year. President Tom Palangio and Chief Technical Officer Thomas Palangio enjoyed sharing WipWare’s fragmentation analysis software and systems to the attendees. Also, they had a blast meeting old friends, new friends and clients. During the conference, more than 1700 people attended making this event a great success.

Fragmentation Analysis Technology

Throughout the conference, Tom and Thomas showcased WipWare’s Reflex Fragmentation Analysis instrument as well as our full line of image analysis products: Momentum expandable conveyor system, Solo conveyor system and WipFrag software.

WipWare’s Reflex Fragmentation Analysis Instrument gives customers PSD (Particle Size Distribution) analysis at the primary crusher. This autonomous instrument detects the arrival of a truck and begins taking images of the material as it is dumped into the crusher. Then, WipWare’s WipFrag software analyzes these images providing our customers with fragmentation analysis data of their material. Our customers can view this data on any Windows desktop, iOS or Android device. As a result, our customers have real-time telemetry to make quantitative decisions for continuous improvements.

Also while attending the ISEE, Tom and Thomas had the pleasure of seeing some of the sites and sounds of San Antonio Texas. Friends from O-Pitblast, Francisco Leite and Raquel Sobral joined Tom and Thomas at the Tower of Americas.

Blasters Weekend

Thomas Palangio addresses 240 blasting professionals at ISEE’s Blasters Weekend in San Antonio TX. The Blasters Weekend included a training seminar on Saturday designed specifically for the blaster in the field. The seminar qualified for blaster re-training hours in several states. Several instructors and topics were presented including Thomas Palangio’s presentation on Fragmentation Analysis – a Blast Performance Metric.
The International Society of Explosives Engineers promotes safety and best practices and WipWare’s pioneering use of drones and image analysis products supports these efforts.

Thank you to everyone who came out and helped make the event such a huge success. We hope to see everyone next year in Nashville!
Next on the Trade Show trail will be the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) Convention March 4-7 in Toronto, Ontario.
SEE YOU THERE!!!
