WipJoint
WipJoint is a simple and easy to use software tool to help the user characterize and record jointing patterns on in-situ rock surfaces. It is available as ‘stand-alone’ or as an additional option to WipFrag. WipJoint users will be able to assess the comminution factor which is the mean block size based on jointing before the blast divided by the mean block size measured after the blast. This factor can be used to predict fragmentation based on jointing data for future shots and blast models can be “fine tuned” and adjusted to produce more accurate results.
