Northern Ontario Mining Showcase – PDAC 2019

Featuring approximately 25,000 attendees from over 135 countries, PDAC is one of the world’s leading mineral exploration conference and trade shows.

The event ran from March 3 to 6. As the largest pavilion at PDAC, the FedNor-funded NOMS (Northern Ontario Mining Showcase) pavilion featured more than 110 Northern Ontario businesses and organizations, highlighting the wealth of products, services and investment opportunities the region has to offer.

WipWare was proud to be a part of NOMS and attend this year’s conference and trade show. Congratulations to Gino Chitaroni at PolyMet Labs for winning the Tello Drone.

After getting the booth set up, WipWare’s was ready to showcase the Solo system at the tradeshow. It was great to have one for the tradeshow.  Anthony Rota, Al MacDonald and Ron Slack stop by the WipWare booth. Later in the day, Vic Fideli also stopped by the booth to show his support for northern businesses and the mining industry.

It was a great week at PDAC 2019. There was good attendance and interest from young and old alike. Interacting with customers and showcasing our technology is what these tradeshows are all about. Companies from our region bring knowledge, capacity and innovation. Ontario’s mining sector is open for business and open for jobs! Did you know there are over 65 mining companies in North Bay?

After a successful week at PDAC, our WipWare technical specialists had an opportunity to unwind and  cap it off with a party at the Steam Whistle.
