PROFIT magazine unveils 25th annual list of Canada’s Fastest-Growing Companies

PROFIT Magazine today placed WipWare Inc. in the top third of its list of Canada’s Fastest-Growing Companies.

Published in the Summer issue of PROFIT Magazine and online at PROFITguide.com, the PROFIT 500 ranks Canadian businesses by their revenue growth over five years. WipWare ranked No. 127 on the 25th annual PROFIT 500, the definitive ranking of Canada’s Fastest-Growing Companies.

WipWare, developer and manufacturer of photoanalysis software and hardware systems headquartered in North Bay, made the PROFIT 500 list with five-year revenue growth of 524%.

WipWare’s European distributor in the Netherlands, Syscom Industrial Equipment, experienced record-setting visitor numbers at Bauma 2013 in Munich, Germany.

WipWare Inc. is proud to have been part of the largest and most successful Bauma 2013 show ever last week.

Syscom Industrial Equipment, WipWare’s distributor in the Netherlands, saw previous attendance, exhibitor numbers and exhibition space records smashed at Bauma 2013 in Munich, Germany, from April 15-21.

By the time an “ear-deafening chorus of hooting construction machines” marked the end of the seven-day show, 530,000 visitors had filed through the 6.1 million square feet of space in 16 exhibition halls, with 200,000 visiting from outside Germany.

The 2013 show attracted 3,240 exhibitors, 2,074 from outside Germany. A total of 57 countries were represented at Bauma 2013. The top ten countries of origin among the visitors were: Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, the Russian Federation, France, Netherlands, Great Britain, Sweden and Poland.

Bauma is the world’s largest international trade fair for construction machinery, building material machines, mining machines, construction vehicles and construction equipment. The next Bauma takes place from April 11 to 17, 2016, in Munich.

WipWare Inc. representatives will be working the crowd at the largest building industry trade fair in the world later this month.

The last Bauma, in 2010, attracted 3,256 exhibitors from 53 countries, and over 420,000 visitors from more than 200 nations. With a total of 555,000 square meters of exhibition space in 2010, Bauma is the largest trade show in the world.

WipWare representatives were in attendance at the Ontario Stone, Sand & Gravel Association’s (OSSGA) annual general meeting in February at Deerhurst Resort in Huntsville, Ontario.

WipWare Inc. has announced the dates for its 4^th Annual Training Seminar later this year.

Running from September 17-19, with a focus on Blasting & Explosives, WipWare’s training course returns to the company’s roots for 2013.

Now in the final stage of planning, the program will include leading industry specialists sharing their expertise and describing innovative approaches to blast optimization, monitoring, high-speed imaging and more. Other topics include image acquisition, fragmentation analysis systems overview, system options and calibration, and the opportunity for guided hands-on experience with WipWare’s WipFrag software.

WipWare Inc. is proud to announce a recent agreement with Konvels Automation Ltd to represent and distribute WipWare products in the former Soviet Union.

According to its website, Konvels Automation, with locations in Moscow and St Petersburg,  represents a number of foreign manufacturers of instrumentation and automation systems, and works in the field of automation of technological processes in various industries throughout Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States.

“This agreement is the culmination of a number of years working with Konvels and solidifies four years of ongoing relationships within Russia,” said WipWare President Tom Palangio. “It gives us a local presence in that market and the ability to communicate with customers in their own language and allows us to apply our experience in the mining, mineral processing and aggregate industries.”

WipWare Inc.’s ‘LipWare’ Movember team are proudly sporting a fine crop of moustaches cultivated over the past 30 days in the name of men’s health.

WipWare’s team of Mo Bros and its lone Mo Sista spent much of November grooming, trimming and (and scratching!) their upper lips along with beating the bushes to raise more than $2,000.00 for the global Movember event.

Every year, the Movember event sees thousands of men sprout “Mo’s” for the specific purpose of raising vital funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and male mental health initiatives. In 2011, over 854,000 Mo Bros and Mo Sistas around the world got on board, raising $125.7 million CAD. The funds raised are directed to programs run directly by Movember and its partner, Prostate Cancer Canada.

As our forefathers always knew, the moustache is the mark of a man. Today, it is a man’s ribbon, a symbol to spark conversation and help change the face of men’s health.
