Who Are We?
WipWare invented optical granulometry at the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada more than 25 years ago with the creation of WIEP (Waterloo Image Enhancement Process), later renamed WipFrag. The commercial introduction of WipFrag in 1986 positioned the company as the industry leader in optical granulometry of fragmented material.

WipWare designs and manufactures industry leading photoanalysis software and hardware that offers real-time analysis of materials in the field, laboratory, on-line production settings for underground and surface mining, quarries, aggregate production, forestry, coal industries and many more. WipWare offers stationary and mobile systems for conveyors, haulage trucks and and site-specific locations.
WipWare’s Photoanalysis systems have helped companies world-wide save and generate millions of dollars by preventing equipment down-time, improving productivity, enhancing personnel health and safety and optimizing processes.
